No, there isn’t a Sherman Pickey. There are, however, a Sherman and a Pickey. The name of our store was derived from one owner’s dog’s name and another’s cat’s name, both rescued animals. From the water bowl on the steps to the dog treats at the counter, we maintain an affinity for our customer’s animals. “Authentically preppy" may be one characterization for this store, but “pet friendly” suits us fine as well.
